Christmas Movies – Never too Late

Yes, Christmas Day is past, but I still want Christmas to continue.

I stand up proudly and admit that I’m a sucker for Christmas movies. Especially Christmas movies with happy endings (think Hallmark Christmas movies). I know, realistically, that happy endings aren’t the rule, yet I cling to the belief that there are many good people in this world, and happy endings can come true – particularly during the holiday season.

I also know that I am not the only one who craves Christmas movies. A good friend of mine says that she watches – at minimum – 2 Christmas movies a day for at least a month prior to Christmas.  I’ll even acknowledge that I am one of those people who watch at least a dozen Christmas movies in July. I must have my Christmas fix at least twice a year! And watching 30-50 Christmas movies from the beginning of November to the beginning of January is normal!

Here are some of my favorite Christmas movies. The order below is from memory, and not an indication that one is more important than any other Christmas movie.

A Boyfriend for Christmas

The Road to Christmas

It’s a Wonderful Life

White Christmas

The Secret of Giving

The Santa Clause

The Christmas Card

A Christmas Story

The Spirit of Christmas

The Christmas Chronicles

A Christmas Carol (1984)

Christmas in Connecticut (1945)

A Charlie Brown Christmas

Polar Express

How the Grinch Stole Christmas (1966)

A Very Merry Mixup (Hallmark)

Crown for Christmas (Hallmark)

A Princess for Christmas (Hallmark)

Snow Bride (Hallmark)

Holiday in the Wild

Christmas Under Wraps (Hallmark)
